Wow, what a gem this hotel is! Rustam, the owner, is the friendliest person you'll ever meet at a hostel. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests are happy - from picking you up at the airport in a snowstorm to cleaning your clothes for free. the atmosphere at this hostel truly lives up to its name - welcoming and friendly. Beds come with curtains for privacy and your own plug, plus there are large lockers with keys for peace of mind.

the bathrooms could be fresher and cleaner, and it would be great to see them maintained more regularly.

Friends Hostel in Astana was exceptional. the staff, especially Mr Paul, was incredibly friendly and helpful. the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. Excellent facilities included free high-speed WiFi, laundry, and complimentary coffee and tea. Extra security measures were in place, and the hospitality was top-notch.

No complaints. Everything was great.
